Dr  Tran has particular interest in osteoporosis, pituitary conditions, and reproductive endocrinology (gestational diabetes, pregnancy-related endocrine issues, low testosterone, PCOS, subfertility, menopause, and gender-affirming hormone therapy). He is also experienced in the diagnosis and management of diabetes (type 2, type 1, MODY, LADA, steroid-induced); weight management; bone & calcium disorders; disorders/tumours affecting the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands; hormonal causes of hypertension, hair loss (alopecia) and excess hair growth (hirsutism).

He has private consulting rooms in Hurstville & Gregory Hills; is a Staff Specialist at Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals, a Consultant Endocrinologist at Waratah Private Hospital, and a University Lecturer for UNSW & WSU Medical Schools. 

He completed specialist training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, The Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, and Westmead Hospital. 

In his spare time, he enjoys sports (tennis, badminton, table tennis), board games, and roadtrips.
